What’s snowy, sparkly, and loads of fun? The holiday semi-formal dance!  This year’s dance theme was “Frozen in Time” and it was held in the SDHS cafeteria on Thursday, December 21st, 2017. The students enjoyed a lovely snow theme of blue and white carefully crafted by Student Government members.  Each attendee even had a snowflake with his or her name on the wall by the dance area.  Delicious appetizers were served by Mrs. Harsh, and Mr. & Mrs. Johnson served up their traditional punch.  Music was provided by Heartbreaker, and the auxiliary gym was packed with students jamming to the beat. During the crowning ceremony, the homecoming court was presented, and Student Government members Jason Wessell and Alyssa Young crowned the king, Brady Fentress, and queen, Alyssa Baker.   Overall, the dance was a great success with fun, friends, music, food and drinks.
